Farming from the beginning of time focuses on one main issue - "good yield". With the advancement of technology available to the gardeners, hi-tech and high yield production fertilizers- based on chemical compounds marched their way into our farmlands. With a loud cry - "We will Feed the World", cheap but chemical based fertilizers were introduced.

When chemicals are introduced in the garden- we may have to work with rubber gloves and boots, yes sometimes with even that dreadful chemical mask. Our beautiful garden is not laboratory. And for those people who can afford, compost soils are available in the garden section of the market. As for me and my family, we will live with the land and pray that our children will continue to do so.

A good vegetable garden need a fertile and loam soil. This will enable the vegetable to grow healthy. Black Jack Basics

Black Jack is one of the most popular games in a casino and even in an online casino. It is also called 21. It is normally played with a banker as the dealer with up to 7 players independently playing against the banker. The dealer normally uses from 4 to 8 deck cards shuffled in a “shoe” which the dealer distributes.

The numeric cards 2 to 9 are counted as their values, the Ace is optionally counted as eleven or one. All the face cards (Jack, Queen and King) has a value of ten. The objective is to have a better card value against the banker without having the hand total above 21. Once it goes over 21, it is called a “bust” and the player “fold” or losses.

The game starts with each player placing a bet of their choice and the dealer gives 2 cards for each player and the banker. One of the cards of the banker will face down and the other will opened. When the initial 2 card hand of any one totals 21- it is a black jack and it is immediately a winner. When a player gets a black jack, all the others will continue to play but when a banker gets a black jack, the hand is over and the dealer collects all the bets.

Each player will have a turn to collect additional cards as they would determine. The only rule is that as soon as the card is “busted” the player’s turn stops and the next player will be given the opportunity. The objective is to have a total hand of 21 or less in order to have a chance of winning. After receiving the first 2 cards, the players will have the following options while it is their turn to play:
- Hit- to ask for an additional card. A player can “hit” as much card as they require as long as the hand total does not go over 21.
- Stand- to take no more cards.
- Double Down- this option is applicable only while the player has 2 cards. It will allow the player to double the initial bet but will be allowed only one more card to take.
- Split- this option is applicable if the first 2 cards of the player are the same. When a player declares split, the two cards are separated and a second bet that is equal to the first bet is added to the original bet. The player will now be considered as playing with 2 hands.

The banker will be dealt last if there are still players who have not gone above the 21 card value. If the dealer’s card value is 16 or below, another card must given. When the dealer’s hand is more than 21 all the players that is still playing wins. The banker cannot have an additional card once the card value is 17 of more.

The winner determined based on each player and banker’s hand value. An equal card value means a “push” and the player’s bet is returned.
